This is my 7 year old, Indian-Japanese cousin in our grandparent's house in Bangalore.

Diwali

The festival of lights is full of amazing opportunities for photos. Fireworks, sweets, celebrations, friends, family, lamps, candles and more. This is our first Diwali in Chennai, we have still not fully settled down and we were disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm in the city as compare to Delhi. Next year, I'm going to make sure it's a lot more festive.

This year I only managed to shoot candles in the balcony. The first one is of my mother reading prayers.

At this very moment, I have in my lap a spanking new canon EOS 600D or rebel T3i or kiss x5 (funny or what?)
Probably the best boards gift I could ask for.

Now all thats left to do is figure out how to use it.
